DALE WHITE

Dale serves as President/CEO of ĤƵ overseeing and executing on the Company’s mission of delivering fairness, efficiency and affordability to the U.S. healthcare system. He is also a member of the ĤƵ Board of Directors. Dale is a well-respected healthcare industry leader with four decades of experience, including most recently serving as President/COO of ĤƵ where he drove enterprise performance, including long term growth strategy, operations and solutions portfolio. Before joining ĤƵ in 2004, Dale held senior leadership positions at several healthcare organizations.

JEFF DOCTOROFF

Jeff oversees the legal team at ĤƵ and manages all aspects of the Company’s legal and regulatory compliance functions. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, he previously served as the general counsel of Health Dialog, a leading care management provider, and also worked at a major international law firm specializing in healthcare and transactional work.

Jim has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Company since November, 2021. Prior to being appointed to his current role he served as a Partner at BDT & Company, LLC from 2016 until March 2021 and, prior to that, worked at Morgan Stanley for 22 years where he held various executive leadership roles, including Co-Head of the Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring Group, Americas from 2013 to 2016; Co-Head of the Financial Institutions M&A Group, Americas from 2008 to 2013; and Managing Director from 2003 to 2016.

Michael oversees the Company’s technology organization. He has nearly 20 years of experience leading large IT organizations including major insurance companies such as The Hartford Property and Casualty Company and Torus Insurance.

Carol is responsible for developing, promoting and executing the people strategy in support of the Company’s current needs and future growth objectives. She has over 20 years of experience leading people functions and has a deep knowledge of traditional human capital specialties and transformational business strategies. Prior to joining ĤƵ, Carol held several executive leadership positions in both emerging companies and large global corporations including Optoro, Promontory Financial Group, and Booz Allen Hamilton.

MONICA ARMSTRONG

Monica is responsible for leading the National Accounts Sales & Account Management team with a focus on optimizing and executing the Company’s Growth Plan within our National Accounts’ client segment. Throughout her 25 year healthcare career, she has successfully and consistently built and expanded long-term relationships with payors across several market sectors including National and Regional Carriers, Third-Party Administrators, Unions, and Specialty Healthcare Payors.

MIKE BATTISTONI

Vice President, Sales & Account Management, Third Party Administrator (TPA) Business

Michael is responsible for managing sales and client relationships in the third-party administrator and self-funded employer segment for the Company. Michael’s 25 years of industry experience includes a wide array of knowledge across provider contracting, data analytics, client management, operations, data security, and legal and regulatory landscapes. Prior to joining ĤƵ, Michael held several leadership positions at some of the industry’s largest organizations, including Cigna and Aetna. Michael holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

Andrew oversees sales, client relationships, and growth across our Regional Health Plan, Third Party Administrator, Government, and Property & Casualty markets. His over 30 years of experience is defined by successful positions in leadership, exceptional growth results, and a strong focus on healthcare information technology, services and solutions. Prior to joining ĤƵ, Andrew has held senior executive positions at Optum, Icario, and Volant Ventures.

Sean oversees the Company’s Healthcare Economics team and is responsible for strategic analytic advisory regarding the delivery and design of healthcare services to our clients, provider partners and ĤƵ stakeholders. Sean has over 20 years of diverse healthcare industry experience working at Viant Health Payment Solutions, Texas True Choice and Corporate Health Plans of America.   Sean holds a MBA from Baylor University, Hankamer School of Business.

Chris leads ĤƵ’s Payment Integrity ĤƵ. He is a nationally cited expert on the topic of healthcare waste, abuse and fraud and has previously held leadership positions at some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country including UnitedHealthcare, Optum and Cotiviti.

ALWYN VAN HEERDEN

Al oversees the execution of all merger and acquisition (M&A) and partnership activities while also supporting strategic initiatives aligned with best-in-class finance processes for the Company. Al has more than 14 years of experience in M&A, partnerships and structuring financings. Prior to joining ĤƵ, Al served as Senior Director, Corporate Development at Elevance Health (formerly Anthem, Inc.) where he led strategic acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and other strategic relationships. In addition, Al has a background in investment banking with financial firms Rothschild, Credit Suisse and Barclays Capital and started his career in consulting. Al holds an MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and is a CFA charterholder.

MELISSA HUMPHREY

Melissa oversees the marketing and communications strategy for the Company. She has held various marketing leadership positions in healthcare technology and analytics over the past 20 years, including Gainwell Technologies, HMS, Signify Health and Vizient. Throughout her career, she has launched startups and built new marketing departments, as well as transformed existing teams into high-performing, revenue-generating marketing organizations. Melissa’s varied experience includes a passion for partnering with sales teams to create and achieve revenue growth strategies, as well as transitioning and building brands through key growth periods.

JACQUELINE KIENZLE​

Jacqueline oversees the Company’s largest client and their affiliates. With over 20 years of experience, she guides the activities of a team of national account managers in ensuring consistent and growing value to assigned clients. Prior to joining ĤƵ, Jacqueline was responsible for managing client relationships for Viant, Corporate Systems, Inc. and Intracorp. Jacqueline earned her MBA from Benedictine University.

GERALD KOZEL

Gerald has more than 25 years of corporate Securities and Exchange Commission and public accounting experience. Most recently he served as Vice President and Controller at ComEd, an Exelon company, where he was responsible for accounting operations, internal controls, and financial reporting. Gerald started his career at Arthur Andersen, followed by Deloitte, where he focused on auditing large public companies.

Liz oversees the No Surprises Act Arbitration/IDR and Subrogation Solutions for the Company. With over 25 years of payment integrity experience, Liz has a proven track record of success in aligning teams and streamlining tools, processes, technology and data to achieve strategic and financial goals. Previously Liz was Chief Legal Officer at Discovery Health Partners, where she was instrumental in building and growing the Subrogation offering including product development, data integration, testing, quality assurance, sales, marketing and operations. Liz holds J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from DePaul University.

MELBALYNN MADARANG

Mel is responsible for our Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) market segment and oversees our relationships with BCBS plans and their affiliates. With over 20 years of industry experience, she guides the activities of a national account management team in identifying and implementing value-added opportunities with BCBS plans. Previously, she worked with National Care Network in client services and account management roles. She earned her MBA from Mount St. Mary’s University.

JEFFREY MARTIN

Jeff is responsible for a solution suite including Revenue Integrity services and Pre & Post Payment Integrity services. Jeff has over 12 years of experience in healthcare, payment integrity, and Medicare regulation. Previously, Jeff was Vice President for Payment Integrity Operations at Discovery Health Partners. Additional past roles include leadership positions at Anthem and Cotiviti. Jeff earned a J.D. from the Charles Widger School of Law at Villanova University and a B.A. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Luke oversees ĤƵ’s investor relations program and is a senior leader on the Company’s corporate finance team. Luke has over 20 years of experience working in investing and corporate finance roles, including a decade as a sell-side equity analyst. Prior to joining ĤƵ, he held management positions at Invesco, Ltd., including Head of Strategic Finance. Before Invesco, he was a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Sanford Bernstein covering financial services. Luke earned his MBA from Columbia Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.

Laura oversees sales and client relationships in the property and casualty insurance markets. With more than 30 years of experience in the workers’ compensation and auto medical industries, Laura has held executive-level roles at various companies including Healthesystems, Qmedtrix, First Health (Coventry) and Beech Street, now owned by ĤƵ.

DR. BENJAMIN PERRYMAN​

With 15 years of data science and operations research experience, Ben serves as the Chief Data Scientist, enabling data-driven decision-making at the company through the use of statistical and machine learning techniques. He has a doctorate in Operations Research from N.C. State University, has served in analytics positions at MetLife, SAS Institute, and the U.S. Forestry Service, and is a passionate advocate for the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI Ethics).

DEREK REIS-LARSON

Derek leads ĤƵ’s Analytics-Based ĤƵ, as well as the Company’s network operations. Prior to his current role, Derek served for 15 years as Vice President of Operations, and has held leadership positions at ĤƵ across claims, network, and customer service, and has managed a number of large-scale integrations. He holds a MFA from the California College of the Arts.

JR serves as CISO and provides leadership for the Company’s information security, risk and vendor management programs. Prior to joining ĤƵ, JR served as CISO at ION Group, overseeing the global security program for the rapidly growing, international provider of data-driven, trading technology solutions. Additionally, he has over 20 years of experience, including security leadership roles at Protiviti and other leading information security consulting firms. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and holds numerous industry-recognized security certifications.

ANDREA ROWE

In her role, Andrea is responsible for the Company’s product vision, strategies and long term growth. During her tenure with ĤƵ, she held various leadership positions within Operations, IT and Integrations, such as delivery of web portals, ensuring service excellence through optimization of healthcare claims and service operations, and led integration of acquired entities. Prior to joining ĤƵ, she served in increasingly strategic roles with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield within claim operations, dental product line, and in a large platform migration.

BRUCE SINGLETON

Bruce leads ĤƵ’s Network-Based ĤƵ. His team grows and refines provider network relationships and identifies and implements new network solutions. He has over 20 years of experience leading network development strategy for some of the industry’s leading organizations including Aetna, Coventry Health and Concentra. He holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting.

STEPHEN SOFOUL

Stephen leads the Company’s Data & Decision Science ĤƵ. Prior to the 2023 acquisition of Benefit Science Technologies (BST), he served as the co-founder and CEO/President of BST. He previously served as the President of a specialized healthcare consulting firm based in The Woodlands, TX. Stephen has also led organizations in both the manufacturing and services sectors. This experience includes time as the Vice-President of a heavy equipment manufacturing firm and the managing director of a financial consulting firm. Stephen holds a life & health insurance license, life & health insurance counselor license, and a GBA (Group Benefits Associate) designation. He also earned a BS degree in Finance and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
